Thomas Jones
The youngest of seven brothers and one sister, he lived in Howard House which has been demolished and was off Barton Heyes Road.
Thomas was a Sergeant (Air Gunner) in the RAF. He was killed on 24 June 1941 and is buried in the Kiel War Cemetery.
The family business was in haulage, especially sand haulage.
