William Edward Lishman

William attended St. Luke's school. The Son of Alfred Henry and Fanny Lishman, of Formby, he lived in the corner house on Queen's Road. William was a private in the South Lancashire Regiment, and was killed at at the age of 25 on 18th October 1944. His grave is in the Venray War cemetery.

William's brother, Norman, was a Bevin boy.
